



President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister/ Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar expressed grief over the tragic loss of lives and the widespread destruction caused by the devastating floods and landslides in Bangladesh.
In a condolence message on Sunday, the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan stands firmly with the Government and the people of Bangladesh at this difficult time. The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and the well-being of all those affected.
In an X message the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif wrote “Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and widespread devastation caused by the severe floods and landslides in Bangladesh. On behalf of the people of Pakistan, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and express our unwavering solidarity with the Government and people of Bangladesh. We pray for the swift recovery of the injured and the safety of all those affected.”
Meanwhile Deputy Prime Minister/ Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar wrote in a X barta that “I am deeply saddened by the devastating floods and landslides in Bangladesh. My heartfelt condolences go to the families who have lost their loved ones, and my thoughts and prayers are with all those displaced and affected by this disaster.
I pay tribute to the courage and dedication of the rescue personnel, armed forces, medical teams, and relief workers who are working tirelessly to assist those in need. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Bangladesh, and I pray for the success of the ongoing rescue and relief efforts and for the safety of all those impacted.
