‘Major development work underway across country’

Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser (State Minister rank) Humayun Kabir has said that massive development activities have been launched across the country since the beginning of the year, and the approval and implementation of various projects are now visible.

He called on everyone to cooperate in the country’s development efforts. He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a government voluntary fund grant distribution ceremony held at the Bishwanath Upazila Parishad Auditorium in Sylhet on Wednesday.

“The government is deeply committed to the people, and this is truly a government of the people,” Humayun Kabir said.

The programme was presided over by Bishwanath Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Zahid Bin Kashem and conducted by Jubo Dal leader Rumel Ali.

Speaking as the chief guest, Humayun Kabir also said, “Priority is being given to the development of roads in the area. For this, everyone’s cooperation is essential. In the future, Sylhet, Bishwanath, and Osmaninagar will witness extensive development.”

Emran Ahmed Chowdhury, Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sylhet-6 constituency, attended the event as the special guest.
