ACC gets new DG

Additional Secretary Mohammad Monirul Islam is appointed Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission on deputation through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.

The government has appointed Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Mohammad Monirul Islam as the new Director General (DG) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on deputation, according to an official notification issued on Wednesday.

The appointment order is signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Noor-e-Alam.

Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the Cabinet Division, the Prime Minister’s Office and other relevant ministries and authorities for necessary action.

Mohammad Monirul Islam joins the Anti-Corruption Commission from the Ministry of Public Administration, where he has been serving as an Additional Secretary before being appointed Director General of the anti-graft body on deputation.
