Bangladesh Bank signs agreement with Mercantile Bank

An agreement was recently signed between Bangladesh Bank and Mercantile Bank PLC to provide low-interest loans to entrepreneurs under the cluster.

Nowshad Mostafa, Director of SMESPD Department of Bangladesh Bank and Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & CBO of Mercantile Bank PLC. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

The event was attended by Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Mohammad Nizamul Hoque, SVP & Head of SME Financing Division of Mercantile Bank, along with executives and senior officials of both the organizations.
