Balam to celebrate 33-yr musical journey with Stockholm concert

Popular Bangladeshi singer Balam is set to perform in Sweden for the first time as part of a special concert marking more than three decades in music.

The concert, scheduled for June 28 at Hallunda Folkets Hus in Stockholm, will celebrate the artiste’s 33-year career and feature a selection of his most beloved songs.

Organisers said the event aims to bring together Bangladeshi music lovers living abroad for an evening dedicated to one of the country’s most recognisable voices.

The Stockholm show will be part of Balam’s ongoing European tour, which also includes performances in Italy before he heads to Sweden. The concert is expected to attract a large audience from the Bangladeshi diaspora, with excitement already building across social media.
