



Md Abdul Aziz, Member of Parliament for the Natore-4 constituency, said that farmers need to improve their skills and adopt modern agricultural technology in the agriculture sector.
Food and nutritional security must be ensured, and the rural economy must be further strengthened.
Microbial and pesticide use must be applied in moderation in the production of agricultural products so that food quality is not compromised.
The production standards of fruits and vegetables through good agricultural practices must be maintained.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at a program organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension on the occasion of the “Partner Congress” held at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium in Baraigram Upazila of Natore on Thursday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous presided over the meeting, and Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Mrs. Husneyara Khatun conducted it. Senior Monitoring Officer of the Partner Project, Rajshahi region Md. Abdul Latif, Additional Agricultural Officer of Natore District Prasad Kalyan Roy, and Upazila Cooperative Officer Md. Amjad Hossain attended as special guests.
Upazila Agricultural Officer Md. Sajeeb Al Maruf presented the keynote address at the program. Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Mahdi Hasan, Joaria UP Chairman Ali Akbar, officials from various upazila departments, and local farmers were also present.
