



Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has retained the highest long-term credit rating of AAA from Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) for the fourth consecutive year.
The bank also received a short-term rating of ST-1 with a stable outlook, EBL said in a press release.
The rating reflects EBL’s financial strength, risk management, asset quality and focus on sustainable growth, the bank said.
It also reinforces the bank’s position as a trusted financial institution driven by governance, innovation and long-term value creation for customers, shareholders and stakeholders.
EBL said the rating underscores its capital base, liquidity position, disciplined credit culture and consistent operational performance.
The bank said the rating also reflects its ability to navigate changing economic conditions while maintaining corporate governance and financial stability.
EBL said its continued highest credit rating reflects its focus on financial discipline, customer-centric innovation and operational excellence.
