



Bangladesh continues to witness robust remittance inflows in the current fiscal year, with expatriate Bangladeshis sending over $34.38 billion during the period from July 2025 to June 15, 2026, marking an impressive 18.61 percent growth compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Remittance inflow reached $34.38 billion till June 15 of FY2025-26, up from $28.99 billion received during the same period of FY2024-25, according to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank released on Tuesday.
On June 15, 2026, expatriates sent $82.55 million through official banking channels, reflecting the continued contribution of overseas workers to the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
During the first 15 days of June, remittance inflow totalled $1.623 billion.
