Hafezzi Charitable Society’s Humanitarian Activities Featured in International Media

The humanitarian activities of Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh are becoming increasingly visible beyond the country’s borders. A number of state, national, and international media outlets have already broadcast and published reports on the organization’s humanitarian initiatives in Sudan, Gaza, and Egypt.

According to available information, Sudan’s state broadcaster, Sudan TV, aired a special report on Team Hafezzi’s humanitarian operations in the country. The report highlighted food distribution, nutritional support for children, and emergency humanitarian assistance provided to people affected by conflict and displacement.

In addition to Sudan TV, the organization’s activities were also featured on Alzarka TV and Tayiba TV, two well-known television channels in Sudan. National media outlets Fawri and Shikan newspaper also published reports on Team Hafezzi’s various humanitarian initiatives.

Published reports and video footage indicate that Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh has been carrying out regular relief activities in different parts of Sudan for the past year, particularly following the humanitarian crisis in Al-Fasher. Through local partner organizations and field representatives, assistance has been delivered to war-affected families, malnourished children, vulnerable women, and displaced communities.

The organization’s programs in Sudan include the distribution of food and nutritional supplies, emergency financial assistance, support for vulnerable families, and the distribution of Qurbani meat. Despite operating in high-risk and conflict-affected environments, the continuity of these activities has received positive attention at the local level.

Team Hafezzi’s humanitarian initiatives in Gaza and Egypt have also received international media coverage. Al Jazeera, Palestine TV, and Egypt Times have broadcast and published news reports, video features, and documentaries on the organization’s food assistance, emergency relief, and other humanitarian programs for the people of Gaza and refugees taking shelter in Egypt.

Available records show that the humanitarian activities of Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh have been featured by Sudan TV, Alzarka TV, Tayiba TV, Fawri, Shikan newspaper, Al Jazeera, Palestine TV, and Egypt Times. The coverage of a Bangladeshi humanitarian organization by several state, national, and international media outlets is being viewed as a significant achievement for the country’s private humanitarian sector.

One of the key features of the organization’s work is its emphasis on publishing the date, location, photographs, videos, and field-level details of each project. The organization prioritizes the publication of updated and evidence-based information and avoids presenting old photographs or footage as part of current activities.

The organization stated, “The recognition of our humanitarian activities by international media is a collective achievement of our donors, well-wishers, volunteers, and the people of Bangladesh. This is not only a form of recognition for us; it has also increased our responsibility and accountability toward the trust placed in us.”

It further stated, “We make every effort to preserve and publicly disclose the necessary documents, photographs, and videos of each humanitarian activity. Ensuring that donors’ contributions reach the intended beneficiaries and maintaining the highest possible level of transparency remain the core principles of our work.”

Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh is a registered humanitarian organization operating under the supervision of leading Islamic scholars, academics, legal professionals, and distinguished individuals in the country. Alongside its international humanitarian operations, the organization is also carrying out large-scale humanitarian, educational, medical, rehabilitation, and livelihood-support programs across Bangladesh.

Its programs for underprivileged and vulnerable communities in Bangladesh include providing rickshaws, vans, sewing machines, and other livelihood tools to unemployed and low-income families, as well as offering skills-development training, creating small-scale employment opportunities, and providing long-term rehabilitation support.

The organization’s regular activities also include medical assistance and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, support for new Muslims, treatment assistance for financially disadvantaged patients, and emergency financial aid. It also organizes free medical camps in different parts of the country and helps cover treatment expenses for poor patients.

In the education sector, Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh runs maktab- and madrasa-based programs, supports poor and visually impaired students, provides honorariums to teachers, and implements projects to expand Qur’anic and basic education in remote areas.

The organization also regularly distributes food, winter clothing, and emergency relief materials, responds to communities affected by natural disasters, and delivers direct assistance to vulnerable families in remote areas.

In addition to immediate humanitarian assistance, the organization places strong emphasis on helping beneficiaries become permanently self-reliant. Its long-term programs focus on creating employment, developing skills, and establishing sustainable sources of livelihood rather than limiting support to one-time donations.

Through its continuous activities at home and abroad, evidence-based reporting, and efforts to maintain transparency and accountability toward donors, Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh has emerged as an active and multi-dimensional humanitarian organization.

While continuing its humanitarian work in conflict-affected regions, the organization is also working to further expand its ongoing programs in Bangladesh in the areas of education, healthcare, disability support, rehabilitation of new Muslims, skills development, and self-reliance.
