Prime Bank appoints Faisal Rahman to lead as CEO

Prime Bank PLC has appointed Faisal Rahman as its Chief Executive Officer, effective on Sunday.
The appointment was announced in a press release issued on Saturday.

Rahman has over 30 years of experience in banking, with expertise in corporate and institutional banking, corporate finance, structured finance, sustainable finance and strategic leadership.

Before the appointment, he served as Additional Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of Wholesale Banking at Prime Bank PLC.

In that role, he led the bank’s Corporate Banking Transformation Program and strengthened relationships with key corporate clients.

During his career, Rahman held senior leadership positions at Prime Bank PLC, Eastern Bank PLC, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh and CréditAgricole Indosuez.

He led several financing initiatives across sectors, including energy and power, infrastructure, aviation and sustainable finance, contributing to Bangladesh’s economic development.

Rahman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

He has participated in executive and leadership development programmes at home and abroad and is an Omega Certified Credit Professional.
