BFF to launch JFA U-14 Youth Dev Prog

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will launch Japan Football Association (JFA) Under-14 Youth Development Programme under auspices of Japan Football Association.

In this regard, a press conference was held at the conference room in BFF House on Thursday.

Member of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron and Member of the Executive Committee of BFF Tipu Sultan were present at the conference in front of a good number of journalists.

A total of 47 teams splitting into six groups will take part in the preliminary round of the Under-14 Football Competition for girls.

The venues are: Rajbari District, Rangpur District, Feni District, Jhenaidah District, Rajshahi District, Tangail District.

Kiron said, ” The participating teams of the preliminary round will get Tk 45 thousand each.

The champions of the each group will get Tk 50 thousand each as prize-money, the runners-up of each group will be awarded Tk 25 thousand each as prize-money.

Besides, both teams, which qualify in the final will get Tk 45 thousand each.” She said, ” It is a talent hunt programme.

The talent female footballers will get a chance in the trail, which will be organised by Bangladesh Football Federation.

Then, the qualified footballers will get chance to play in the age group.

If they can perform well in the trial of the age group, they will get chance to play in the national level.
