‘I want to continue acting regularly along with studies’ Bidushi Bornita

Bidushi Bornita won the ‘Lux Superstar 2025’ crown earlier last month. More than a month has passed since then.

She participated in this competition with the dream of making a fresh comeback to acting after a long break.

Well-wishers were also waiting to see Bornita again. Finally, it was revealed that this beauty is returning with a new project.

This time, she is going to start a new chapter of acting through a web film.

It is learned that after Eid, Bornita will start working on two web films.

One of them will be directed by star producer Shihab Shaheen.

The web film is titled ‘Just Married’, which will be aired on iScreen.

The other web film will be produced under the banner of CMV, although its title has not been finalised yet.

Regarding the new work, Bornita said, “The love of the audience has given me the courage to return to work in a new way.

Now I am completely ready to act.

The work on the two web films will begin after Eid. I want to win the hearts of the audience with my first work on OTT.

I am having a very happy time with this new journey. Along with my studies, I also want to continue acting regularly.”

Bidushi Bornita is now one of the most talked about new faces in the country’s showbiz arena.

Her life has changed after winning the ‘Lux Superstar 2025’ crown.

Her father Mehbub Alam Borno is a media person and her mother Mary Yasmin was involved in cultural activities.

Bornita has been trained in singing and dancing since childhood.

In addition to studying music at Chhayanaut and learning to dance from dancer Moonmoon Ahmed, she also acted as a child artist in Nasir Uddin Yusuf’s film ‘Guerilla’.

She registered from her hospital bed while she was ill, dreaming of returning to acting after a long break.

Bornita later won the crown, leaving thousands of competitors behind.
