Tigresses-Lanka final ODI today
Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will take on Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket team in their third and final One Day International (ODI) match at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium today.
The match will start at 9:30am (Bangladesh Standard Time).
The Tigresses made an auspicious start in the three-match ODI series after defeating the Lankan women by three wickets in the first ODI at the same venue on April 20.
The Lankan women equalized the margin after beating the Tigresses by four wickets at the same venue on April 22.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team and Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket team faced each other in six ODI matches.
Of them, Bangladesh women posted one victory, while Sri Lanka won four occasions and rest of the one match ended without any result.
In the first ODI in Rajshahi, Sharmin Akhter notched up a terrific 86. She hit 13 fours in her 127-ball innings. She was adjudged the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance.
Besides, Ritu Moni grabbed three wickets in the space of 36 runs, while Nahida Akter bagged two wickets at the cost of 38 runs.
In the second ODI in Rajshahi, Nigar Sultana of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team hit a captain’s knock of 58. Her 101-ball innings was laced with three fours.
Besides, Nahida Akter captured four wickets instead of 21 runs.
