Abahani gears up getting Shanto

Dhaka Abahani Limited has announced a strong squad with a bunch of stars and emerging cricketers ahead of the upcoming Dhaka Premier League (DPL).

The team includes experienced opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto, national team regulars Soumya Sarkar, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat and spin all-rounder Mahedi Hasan.

Hard-hitting batter like Zaker Ali Anik and Sabbir Rahman will provide strength in the middle order. Maruf Mridha, Zeeshan Alam and Rohanat Daullah Barshan have made their way into the team with a focus on young talents.

Syed Khaled Ahmed and Iqbal Hossain Emon will lead the pace attack, while Rakibul Hasan and Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi will lead the spin department.
