No public entry near SSC centres during exams

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a restriction on public movement within 200 yards of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination centres in Dhaka during the examination period.

According to a public notice issued on Saturday by DMP Acting Commissioner Sarwar, only examinees and individuals directly involved in conducting the examinations will be allowed to enter the designated areas, reports UNB.

The notice states that the 2026 SSC, SSC (Vocational), Dakhil, and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations will begin on April 21 at various centres across Dhaka Metropolitan City.

To ensure a fair, peaceful, and orderly environment for the examinations, the entry of the general public within a 200-yard radius of all examination centres has been strictly prohibited. The restriction will remain in force on each examination day from April 21 until the completion of the exams.
