Abahani-Mohammedan BFL match today

Dhaka Abahani Limited will face off Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in their 12th match of the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) at Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla today.

The prestigious clash between the two traditional and popular out-fits will kick-off at 3:30pm.

Captain of Dhaka Abahani Limited Assaduzzaman Bablu will lead his team, while Captain of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Mehedi Hasan will lead his side.

Dhaka Abahani Limited took the third position in the points table bagging 19 points from 11 matches, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited took the sixth spot in the points table collecting 11 points from as many outings.

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited took part at their practice session in the match-venue yesterday under their Head Coach Alfaz Ahmed, while Dhaka Abahani Limited participated their practice session under their Head Coach Maruful Haque on the same day at the same venue.

In the day’s another two matches, Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club meet Brothers Union Club at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj and PWD Sports Club face old Dhaka outfit Rahmantganj Muslim and Friends Society at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.

The two matches also kick-off at 3:30 pm.
