1,593 patients admitted in 24hrs

At least seven more dengue patients died and 1,593 others were admitted to hospitals across the country in the 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday.
With the latest figures, the official death toll from the mosquito-borne disease has risen to 164, while the total number of recorded cases reached 1,593.
According to official data, two of the latest casualties were reported in Khulna division, while Dhaka, Barishal, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, and Rangpur divisions recorded one death each.
Currently, a total of 4,058 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals nationwide.
