According to Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Nur-e Nabi, the programme aims to increase the cultivation and production of Aush (Ufshi) paddy, moong dal, and sesame during the Kharif season.

Under the initiative, 3,500 farmers each received 5 kg of Aush paddy seeds along with 10 kg of MOP and 10 kg of DOP fertiliser.

Additionally, 800 registered farmers were provided with 5 kg of moong dal seeds, 10 kg of DOP, and 5 kg of MOP fertiliser per person.

Furthermore, 600 farmers received 1 kg of sesame seeds along with 10 kg of DOP and 5 kg of MOP fertiliser each.
