After 38 years, popular classic playback song in voice of Doly Saontoni

The popular movie ‘Dui Jibon’, directed by the late renowned actor and director Abdullah Al Mamun and starring Bulbul Ahmed, Kabori, Nipa Monalisa, Afzal Hossain, Adil and Diti, was released on June 10, 1988.

The songs ‘Abar Dujone Dekha Holo’, ‘Ami Ekdin Tomay Na Dekhile’, ‘Tumi Chhara Ami Eka’, and ‘Tumi Aj Kotha Diyechho’ from this movie are still popular with the audience.

The classic song from this movie, ‘Ami Ekdin Tomay Na Dekhile’, is a very popular song to singer Doly Saontoni. So, she re-sung this song for her own channel, ‘Doly Saontoni.’

This popular song, written by Moniruzzaman Monir and composed by Alam Khan, has been newly arranged by Shamim Mahmud.

The song was originally sung by the renowned singer of the subcontinent, Runa Laila, and Bangladesh’s playback legend, Andrew Kishore (late).

The song in the movie was lip-synched by actors Afzal Hossain and Diti (late). This time the song is sung by Ruslam Mesbah in duet with Doly Saontoni.

Meanwhile, a new original song of Doly titled ‘Moira Jodi Jaigo Ami’ has been released on her own YouTube channel.

The song was written and composed by Rohan Raj. The music video for the song was shot outside the country.
