Mercantile Bank elects ASM Feroz, Hannan vice chairmen

ASM Feroz Alam & Md Abdul Hannan, MP, have been elected as vice chairmen of the board of directors of Mercantile Bank PLC in its 490th board meeting held at the bank’s head office recently.

Alam is a renowned businessman and managing director of Bengal Trading Ltd (Tokyo).

He is sponsor director of the bank and chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Limited (MBSL).

He is a sponsor and former chairman of Premier Leasing & Finance Limited and founder of ‘Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital’ in Patuakhali.
