According to doctors, she was suffering from a rare neurological disorder due to a viral infection.

As a result, her hearing was severely damaged and she was forced to take a break from singing.

Recalling that horrific experience in 2024, Alka Yagnik said, “After getting off the plane, I suddenly felt like I couldn’t hear anything in my ears.
