Storm warning for 7 dists

The Meteorological Department has forecast that storms with wind speeds of up to 60 km/h may hit seven districts of the country by the evening. River ports in these areas have been advised to display warning signals.

This information was provided in a forecast issued for the six-hour period starting from 9:00 AM on Tuesday. According to the forecast, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds blowing from the west/northwest at speeds of 45 to 60 km/h may occur over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Mymensingh, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, and Sylhet.

River ports in these areas have been instructed to hoist signal number 1.
