Officials must be in office 9-9:40am Ministry

The government officials are required to remain in their offices from 9:00 to 9:40 am daily, the Ministry of Public Administration said on Sunday.
In a notification, the ministry said the directive follows earlier instructions from the Cabinet Division aimed at ensuring responsible behavior in offices, saving electricity and energy, and maintaining cleanliness, reports media.
The ministry noted that deviations from the instructions have been observed and requested strict compliance.
The directive states that officials must remain in their office rooms during the specified time period.
It also advises making use of natural light whenever possible and using only the necessary number of lights, fans, air conditioners, and other electrical appliances.
Air conditioner temperatures should be set at 25°C or above.
When leaving offices, all electrical appliances—including lights, fans, air conditioners, computers, printers, and scanners—must be switched off.Unnecessary lighting in corridors, stairs, washrooms, and other areas should also be avoided.
The ministry added that offices should be kept clean, including rooms, corridors, toilets, stairs, and handrails, and each department or organization must form vigilance teams to monitor compliance with these instructions.
