Ilias Kanchan is largely risk-free, without having to undergo chemotherapy

National Road Safety Day was October 22. The day was celebrated nationwide with the aim of reducing road accidents, ensuring safe travel for people, and increasing awareness among road users.

This movement was started by film actor Ilias Kanchan.

He has been undergoing treatment in London since April last year for a brain tumour.

He is receiving treatment at his daughter Ima Islam’s house there. He underwent brain surgery at a London hospital in August last year.

Doctors removed a large part of the tumour, but could not remove the entire tumour due to the risk. Meanwhile, Kanchan returned to country last August.

At that time, there was some abnormality in his movement and he was also a little weak physically. However, now he is doing much better.

He does not need chemotherapy. His movement has returned to normal, said Liton Ershad, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Safe Roads Platform.
