Bandarban MP reopens filling station

To relieve tourists and locals struggling with the fuel shortage in Bandarban, local Member of Parliament Rajputra Sachin Prue Jerry personally reopened a closed filling station and distributed fuel himself.

On Friday around 10:00 am, he visited several filling stations across Bandarban town.

Motorcycles, jeeps, and tourist vehicles were seen waiting in long lines. Despite fuel being available, several stations remained closed, prompting MP Rajputra Sachin Prue Jerry to express his frustration.
During the inspection, Ujhma Well Filling Station was supplying fuel in a limited capacity, while other stations, including Paharika Filling Station, remained closed.

Upon learning about the situation, the MP immediately went to the station, expressed his dissatisfaction to the owners, ordered the pumps to be reopened, and personally stood there distributing fuel to tourists and locals.

Those waiting in long lines expressed relief at the arrangement.
Many tourists thanked the MP, shook his hand, and appreciated his prompt action in resolving the problem.

Locals reported that the fuel shortage had been causing significant inconvenience in the tourism-dependent Bandarban, and the MP’s intervention has begun to normalize the situation.
