Rauf wants to learn from Mustafiz

Lahore Qalandars started the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with a comfortable win against Hyderabad Kingsmen.

Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman also contributed to the team’s big 69-run win. Fiz took 1 wicket for just 19 runs in controlled bowling.

After the match, Haris Rauf praised Mustafiz in the press conference. He also talked about the team’s bowling unit.

Saying that he wants to learn from Mustafiz, Haris Rauf said, “Mustafiz plays T20 leagues in different parts of the world.

He has also performed very well for Bangladesh. Mustafiz has made our bowling lineup strong. I will try to learn something from him.

He is a very experienced bowler. I will try to learn various bowling techniques from him and apply them on the field.”

About the team’s bowling unit, Rauf said, “Our bowling lineup is like this, I have not seen such a bowling lineup in international cricket.

The best bowlers in T20 are in our team. Pace and spin in both places.

We have good bowlers on the bench as well. Combinations will be arranged based on the conditions.

Today, Usama Mir was on the bench, four pacers played. Usama is a good bowler in T20. Lahore will try to play their best bowling.”

Regardless, Mustafiz-Emon’s team Lahore Qalandars took the field on the opening day of the 11th edition of PSL.

Although Parvez Hossain Emon could not sparkle in his debut.

He was out for 14 runs off 13 balls. On the other hand, Mustafizur Rahman was in a familiar rhythm with the ball.

Lahore’s next match is on March 29, the opponent is Karachi Kings.
