Amidst the promotions of the movie, she has also come into discussion about her personal life.
Puja started her career on the silver screen with Jazz Multimedia’s founder Abdul Aziz. It has been widely reported that she was in a relationship with him for a long time.
After that, when the relationship broke down, she left the Jazz Multimedia.
The actress returned home after three years.
Although there were rumours of her being in a love relationship with many people in her career, none of them were confirmed.
Puja Cherry’s name has been linked to actors Shakib Khan, Siam Ahmed, and Ador Azad at various times.
Recently, Puja took part in a podcast of a private television channel and spoke openly about various aspects of her career and personal life.
She expressed her desire in a candid discussion about her career and personal life while participating in the podcast ‘Behind the Fame with RRK’ hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan.
In response to a question about love, the actress said, “Here I will tell the truth. I am engaged. This is the first time I have said that.”
Puja said, “Relationships are very important to me. I never want the word ‘divorce’ to be associated with my name.
If possible, I will continue my family and acting together. And if I feel like one is turning nineteen and the other is turning twenty, then I will choose my family and leave the cinema.”
She also said, “I have dreamed of becoming a good actress since childhood. But I can freely give up everything for the sake of the family.”
Meanwhile, regarding whether she will stay in the entertainment industry after marriage, the actress replied, “The person I am engaged to is very supportive. He has left it completely up to me to work in the media or not.
His comment is, work in the media if you want, quit if you want to. It is a completely personal matter.”
