Praava Health Celebrates 9 Years of Advancing Patient-Centric Healthcare in Bangladesh
Praava Health proudly celebrates its 9th anniversary, marking nine years of advancing accessible, patient-centric, and quality healthcare in Bangladesh through trust, innovation, clinical excellence, and compassion.
Since its founding, Praava has worked to reshape the outpatient healthcare experience by bringing Family Medicine, specialist consultations, advanced diagnostics, imaging, preventive health screening, Beauty & Wellness, Home Health Services, and digital healthcare solutions together within an integrated healthcare ecosystem.
A major milestone in Praava’s journey came recently when the organization served its one-millionth patient, reflecting the trust patients and families across Bangladesh place in Praava.
To commemorate the anniversary, Praava Health organized a special celebration on 24th August 2026, bringing together employees from across the organization. The program featured addresses from Dr. Simeen M. Akhtar, COO; Mohammad Abdul Matin Emon, CEO; and Sylvana Quader Sinha, Founder and Chair of the Board, followed by an Employee Recognition Ceremony honoring team members who have completed five years or more of service. The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, photo session, and employee lunch.
Highlighting Praava’s pioneering role in Family Medicine, Dr. Simeen M. Akhtar said, “Praava is the first institution in Bangladesh to establish and promote a dedicated department of physicians focused on Family Medicine.”
Mohammad Abdul Matin Emon added, “Praava started as a startup and has now been able to establish itself as a brand. This is one of our biggest achievements and something all of us should be proud of.”
Reflecting on future growth, Sylvana Quader Sinha said, “Last month, we reached our first one million patients. This year, we are launching our first spoke, and by 2027 we plan to launch more spokes, initially across Dhaka city and eventually across the country.”
Praava has also been recognized internationally as a World Economic Forum Global Innovator and Technology Pioneer and featured in case studies by Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School.
