Abbas hospitalised

Political adviser to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Mirza Abbas was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Wednesday evening.

Abbas fell unconscious while drinking water during iftar, said Afroza Abbas, wife of Mirza Abbas.
As his condition did not improve, he was taken to Evercare Hospital at night.

Afroza Abbas, president of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, also sought prayers from the country’s people for his speedy recovery.
