Some want change, some expect Aminul to be the best sports minister

Former Bangladesh National Football team captain Md. Aminul Haque has been sworn in as a State Minister under the technocrat quota.
Everyone involved in sports is quite happy that the former star athlete has become the guardian of the sports field. Everyone wants positive changes in the sports field through Aminul.
Niaz Murshed, the first Grandmaster of the subcontinent and one of the country’s legendary athletes, said, “First of all, I thank Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for making Aminul the Sports Minister (State Minister).
Because he has given responsibility to the most qualified person in the sports field.
After independence, except Sadeque Hossain Khoka, no person in the sports field has taken responsibility in the sports field and worked like that.
Arif Khan Joy, despite being a Deputy Minister, has disappointed everyone. I want Aminul to establish himself as the best Sports Minister in the history of the country.”
The government’s term in Bangladesh is five years. After these five years of work, the success and failure are recorded.
Niaz believes that Aminul will do something for the sports field in these five years that will put him ahead of others, ‘Aminul has a vision. He has been working on the sports field for a long time.
He knows very well where the problems are, what the possibilities are. I am firmly optimistic that Aminul has the ability to be the best minister.”
Aminul’s one-time teammate on the field and one of his recent companions in the political arena is former national footballer Zahid Parvez Chowdhury.
When Aminul got the ministerial post, he said, “Brother is very hardworking. Especially dedicated to the team and the sports field. The vision of BNP extends to the grassroots.
He will implement it and keep the sports fields at the district and divisional levels active.”
Former coach of the Bangladesh National Football team Shafiqul Islam Manik has known ”Aminul is the most qualified person to be the guardian of the field of sports at this moment.
The field of sports in Bangladesh has been running traditionally for a long time. A revolution or change is needed in this stagnant field of sports. I hope Aminul can do that.”
National Sports Award-winning athlete Kamrun Nahar Dana has been involved in sports for more than five decades.
Aminul’s appointment as the State Minister for Sports has been good for the sports field, he said, “Sports is a specialized subject.
Those who have an idea about it, it is good if they get the responsibility. Aminul was a great player.
Later, the leadership of the political arena has proven his organizational skills.”
