FFA gets new leaders

Captain (retd) Sahabuddin Ahmed Bir Uttam, the Freedom Fighters’ Association (FFA) convened a general meeting on Monday, at 11am in Mahakhali DOHS following the demise of its chairman.

It was held at Major (retd) ATM Hasibul Hossain Bir Bikram’s residence, the session chaired by Hasibul elected him as the new chairman and Alhaj Md Shahjahan Kabir Bir Protik as general secretary.

The 15-member executive committee also includes vice chairmen Golam Azad, Mahbub Elahi Ranzu, and Mizanur Rahman Khan Bir Protik; joint GS Md Idris Ali Bir Protik; organising secretary Md Mahsin Ali Sardar Bir Protik; and other office-bearers like Anwar Hossain (finance), Nuruddin Ahmed (office), Bazlul Mahmud (social welfare), Mojammel Haq (publicity), plus elected members Md Momin Ullah Patowari, Kazi Joynal Abedin, Dr Abdullah Al Mahmud, and Syed Rejwana Ali; all Bir Protik recipients.
