Nepotism, politics, grouping, syndicates, lobbying rampant in industry: Swagata

Zinat Sanu Swagata is an actress and musician. Along with acting, she has also made a name for herself in music.

This artiste has been working in showbiz for a long time. She has been in the discussion about her work and personal life at various times.

This time, Swagata was a guest on the second episode of the upcoming celebrity talk show ‘Star Stories’. She talked about nepotism, grouping and syndicates in the showbiz industry.

Regarding the current situation of the showbiz industry, Swagata said, “There is a lot of nepotism, politics, grouping, syndicates and lobbying in the industry.

Due to all this, qualified people do not get work. Even I was dropped despite doing well.

As a result, many people in the industry like me have become frustrated and quit their jobs.”

The actress also raised questions about the hypocrisy of social media.

She said, “People have accepted second and third marriages on social media, have accepted live-togethers; but they cannot accept it when they get involved in these things themselves.

These things are happening openly. People are watching them on social media, they are being viewed. That means our society likes to see these things.”

Swagata shared her philosophy and thoughts on various contemporary issues in the conversation.

There will also be a Fun and Game and an exceptional ‘Rapid Fire’ episode. Some of her personal and funny answers will also come out in it.

The second episode of ‘Star Stories’ was aired on Thursday night. The producer of the programme is Nabila Marzuk.
