Expectations of Celebrities From the New Government

Entertainment Report :

After the voting in the 13th national election, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is forming the government.

The party will lead Bangladesh for the next five years. Showbiz stars have shared their expectations from the new government.

Babita: I hope the country moves forward beautifully. May all the people of the country live in peace, and may corruption not exist.

Artists should be able to practice their art safely and without interruption-that is my wish. I would also request the government to increase the number of cinema halls.

The FDC should be made more dynamic. I had heard that a large area would be developed for the film industry, but I have not heard any updates about it for a long time. It would be good if the government pays attention to that as well.

James: The country is moving forward through a beautiful democratic process. May this continuity remain in the future. May peace prevail in the country, and may the people live well.

Afsana Mimi: First and foremost, I want to see a Bangladesh free from religious extremism.

Then I want to see the light of education spread throughout the country. Let the country be free from corruption. I want to witness the joy of harmony.

Adil Hossain Noble: In some areas, everyone’s expectations are similar. For example, we all want development in the country, maintenance of law and order, and an end to extortion.

I also hope that if someone criticizes the government, instead of attacking them, the government will try to learn from that criticism for the betterment of the country and its people.

Azmeri Haque Badhan: Heartfelt congratulations to the winners. And to those who could not win, I would say that this experience itself is a great achievement. This is our country.

Our main goal should be to move the country forward while maintaining mutual respect and unity. I hope it will be a safe country for people of all religions and backgrounds.

The Bangladesh of tomorrow will be a country of equality where everyone understands and receives their rights.

I also hope the government will pay attention to our culture. Artists still do not have formal state recognition of their profession. I expect a positive initiative from the government in this regard.

Nirab Hossain: Our country has a lot of talent and resources. If utilized properly, Bangladesh can move much further ahead.

From the textile sector to cricket and our film industry-I want to see rapid progress in all fields. With planned initiatives, Bangladesh can advance much more.

Tama Mirza: There should be no enforced disappearances or killings anywhere in the country.

Extortion, looting, and corruption must stop. After more than three decades, the country is going to have a male Prime Minister, and I am very hopeful about it.

I expect the new government to take our beautiful Bangladesh further toward development. Many people depend on the entertainment industry for their livelihood.

However, the industry is shrinking day by day. I hope it will expand in the future and that the number of cinema halls will increase.
