Mehazabien’s new story Cactus

Mehazabien Chowdhury has always been very selective when it comes to choosing scripts. Instead of competing in terms of numbers in dramas and films, she is now focusing on quality.

Recently, the actress joined director Shihab Shaheen’s web series Cactus. She considers this project a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Explaining why she has reduced her workload and decided to join this new project, Mehazabien said, “Since I have significantly reduced my work, I don’t come on board unless there is something truly surprising in the script.

Definitely, I found that kind of surprise in Shihab Bhaiya’s writing. I felt that I shouldn’t let go of a character like this.”

Expressing her excitement about the role, she added, “A character like this comes once in a lifetime.

So, I am very excited! How well I will be able to pull it off, how convincingly I can portray it, and how much effort I can give-definitely I will try my level best. But the rest will be decided by the future and time.”

In Mehazabien’s words, “I feel really good about this project so far. I am a fan of Shihab Shaheen’s work. From that perspective, working under his direction and the way he guides artists-I absolutely enjoy that. So, I will enjoy this work, and hopefully, the project will turn out well too.”
