Ayub Bachchu to get Ekushey Padak

The late Ayub Bachchu, a legendary artiste of Bangladeshi band music and founder of LRB, is being posthumously awarded the Ekushey Padak.

The government has decided to give him this national honour this year in recognition of his outstanding contribution to music.

Shafiqul Alam, the Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary, gave this information at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy auditorium in the capital on Thursday.
