Standard Bank bids farewell to outgoing MD Habibur Rahman

After completing three years of service as managing director & chief executive officer of Standard Bank, Md Habibur Rahman formally bid farewell to the bank.
On this occasion, a farewell ceremony was organized on his last working day on Thursday at the bank’s boardroom, head office, Dhaka.
Chairman of the bank Mohammed Abdul Aziz presided over the ceremony where vice chairman Gulzar Ahmed, directors Ferozur Rahman, SAM Hossain, Ferdous Ali Khan, and independent director Khondoker Rumy Ehsanul Huq were present.
The program was conducted by deputy managing director of the bank Md Siddiqur Rahman.
Senior executives and head of all divisions of the bank attended the program. In his farewell speech, Habib recalled memories of his professional career and expressed gratitude to all concerned for their cooperation in the overall development and success of the bank.
He urged everyone to remain committed to whole heartedly continue contributing to ensure the bank’s progress in the future.
Speakers at the event praised Habib’s dynamic leadership, farsighted decisions and professionalism.
At the end, on behalf of the bank the chairman Mohammed Abdul Aziz presented flowers, crest and gifts to the outgoing managing director and wished him good health, long life and every success.
