Exceptional election campaign of Meghna Alam in Dhaka-8

An exceptional candidate has emerged in the Dhaka-8 constituency election field – Meghna Alam, who is a Miss Earth Bangladesh titleholder, international environmental activist, politically conscious person and educationist.

She presented her beauty pageant crown as a symbol of a political message, highlighting the importance of responsible leadership and protecting human rights. Meghna Alam has long represented Bangladesh in international forums on climate change, sustainable development, and youth leadership.

She has many social initiatives include women’s empowerment, environmental awareness, child and youth development.

Meghna Alam says her crown is “not a symbol of beauty, but of responsibility,” reminding her that leadership means standing by the people, being uncompromising in defending human rights, and protecting the environment.
