1,811 traffic violation cases filed

The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,811 cases against traffic law violators during a citywide operation conducted on Sunday.

According to a DMP press release, the highest number of cases was recorded in the Traffic-Mirpur division, where 734 cases were filed, mostly against motorcycles.

Other divisions also saw significant enforcement actions, including 242 cases in Traffic-Motijheel, 184 in Traffic-Uttara, 178 in Traffic-Tejgaon, 155 in Traffic-Gulshan, 116 in Traffic-Lalbagh, 109 in Traffic-Ramna, and 93 in Traffic-Wari.
