Sunerah, Rehan in shooting for musical film in Jamsam

Jamsam is a city in Mustang district of Gandaki province in Nepal, located at an altitude of 2,760 meters above sea level. Built on the banks of the famous Kali Gandaki River, this city is said to be the highest snow fall city in Nepal.
Snow-capped mountains, blue skies-all together a wonderful combination of nature.
Many Bollywood movies have been shot in Jamsam.
Recently Sunerah Binte Kamal and Farrukh Ahmed Rehan shot a musical film titled ‘O Jaan’ in minus 8 to 10 degrees Celsius in this beautiful city.
Last year, the video of the popular song ‘Moina’ sung by Konal and Niloy was popular, so the next project ‘O Jaan’ was made with the same team.
As usual, Konal and Niloy have sung the song, and Asif Iqbal has written the lyrics. This time too, Taneem Rahman Angshu is producing the video.
Founder of Gaanchil Music and lyricist Asif Iqbal said that this is a pure romantic song. It contains a story of chubby love in the Gen-Z era.
Where there are new additions in every level of lyrics, melody, voice and visuals. The music has been jointly composed by Avral Sahir from Dhaka and Lincoln from Kolkata.
The music has been arranged by Avral Sahir. Sunerah and Rehan have acted together for the first time in the musical film.
Sharing her experience of shooting, Sunerah said, “Nepal, the daughter of the Himalayas, is already extraordinarily beautiful. Among them, Jamsam is an even more unique beauty. Every scene seems to be painted by an artiste.
However, amidst this beauty, there was a harsh reality. Shooting in minus 8 degrees is not easy at all. Overall, the experience of doing the work will be a lifelong memory.
The audience will love not only the songs, but the entire video, including the beautiful locations. It will feel like they are watching songs on a huge canvas of a movie.”
Actor Rehan said, “The combination of the lyrics of the song with the visuals is not usually seen in music videos.
By watching ‘O Jaan’, the audience will be able to enjoy the song as well as the breathtaking beauty of Nepal.
It was a bitter experience due to the cold during the shooting of the song. But overall, I feel good that I can present a great work to the audience.”
The musical film titled ‘O Jaan’ will be released on Gaanchil Music’s YouTube channel on January 30.
