Siddique expelled from BNP

Staff Reporter :

S.A. Siddique Saju, Convener of Darus-Salam Thana BNP in the capital, has been expelled from all levels of the party, including his primary membership for contesting the 13th National Parliamentary Election from Dhaka-14 as an independent candidate, going against the party’s decision.

This information was announced in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday evening.

The press release stated that S.A. Siddique Saju, Convener of Darus-Salam Thana BNP, has been expelled from all levels of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), including his primary membership, for violating party decisions and engaging in anti-organization activities.

Sanjida Islam Tuli, Coordinator of the “Mayer Dak” organization, has been given the final BNP nomination for the Dhaka-14 constituency. S.A. Siddique Saju had also sought the BNP nomination in the same constituency. However, as the party did not give him the green signal to contest, he submitted his nomination as an independent candidate, which has been declared valid.
