Janata Bank offers prayers for former PM Khaleda Zia

Janata Bank Nationalist Employees’ Union on Thursday offered prayers for the soul of former prime minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 80.
The union organised a daylong Quran reading and Doa Mahfil on the day in this regard.
After Asr prayers, a special Doa Mahfil was held at the prayer hall of Janata Bank’s head office.
The programme was attended by the bank’s Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman, Director Md Obaidul Haque, Managing Director Md Mujibur Rahman and central President of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal Anwar Hossain were present.
deputy managing directors Md Foyez Alam and Kazi Abdur Rahman, central president of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal Anwar Hossain and joint general secretary Mostafizul Karim Majumder, oresident of Janata Bank Nationalist Employees’ Union Md Rafiqul Islam and general secretary Md Ilias Khan.
Among others, general managers and deputy general managers of the head office, and executives, officers and employees of all levels, officer organizations and CBA leaders from other banks were also present.
