Kulaura Press Club holds prog

On the occasion of his overseas journey, journalist Riyad Mahmud was given a farewell reception by the KulauraUpazila Press Club on Thursday evening.

The event was presided over by KulauraUpazila Press Club President Md. Mosabbir Ali, while General Secretary Najmul Bari Suhel conducted the proceedings.

Deputy General Secretary AKM Jaber, Deputy Organising Secretary Mohiuddin Ripon, and members Md. Moyjul Islam, Sheikh Badrul Islam Rana, and Kefayet Hossain were also present.

At the reception, speakers wished journalist Riyad success in his life abroad and said, “Journalist Riyad has demonstrated humanity by supporting the helpless and distressed members of society through dedication, honesty, and responsibility in his journalistic work.” He has made a notable contribution through his activities.

In his speech as guest of honour, journalist Riyad said, “The days spent with the KulauraUpazila Press Club during my professional life will remain sweet memories for me for a lifetime. Even though I will be living abroad, I will always love KulauraUpazila.”
