Miss International 2025: Jessia Islam seeks votes for herself

Jessia Islam came into the limelight after winning the 2017 Miss World Bangladesh competition.

Although the results of that pageant were controversial, and Jessia herself was criticised, she was unable to establish a strong position in the Bangladeshi showbiz scene even after winning the title of the best beauty.

She has not had a significant presence in the world of drama, cinema or modelling. Rather, various incidents in her personal life have brought her to the center of more controversy.

However, this time, this model and actress is representing Bangladesh on the world stage in a completely different context.

Jessia has participated from Bangladesh in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, ‘Miss International 2025’.

And to survive in the race for the best on this stage, she wants to become one of the top 20 beauties in the initial stage. She is asking for votes to fulfill this goal.

Jessia recently posted a video message on social media. In it, she said, “Hello, I am Jessia Islam, ‘Miss International 2025’. With your support, I can go a little further and make it to the top twenty.”

She also said, “Download the ‘Miss International’ app to support me. Voting will be counted through credit cards, and the first vote is free for everyone. So encourage your family and friends to vote too.”

Jessia does not see this fight as just a personal victory. In her words, “Because if I win, not only will I win, but the whole of Bangladesh will win.

I hope everyone will support me to take Bangladesh a little further in the world arena. Thank you all.”

Incidentally, besides modelling and acting in dramas, Jessia Islam has been seen acting in two films. She acted as a guest artiste in the psychological thriller film ‘Dard’, a joint production of India and Bangladesh.

The film stars Shakib Khan and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles.
Jessia played the role of an agent in the film ‘Masud Rana-9’.

Meanwhile, Jessia was in a relationship with YouTuber Salman Muktadir. Due to that relationship, they had an unwanted incident on a public street one night, which sparked a storm of criticism on the internet.
