Veteran freedom fighter Abul Kalam died of deadly diseases at his residence in Chittagong in the early hours of Monday. He was 65.
Former commander of the Muktijoddha Sangsad and retired Family Planning Inspector Abul Kalam left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a large number of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was buried with state honour at his family graveyard after a Namaz-e-Janaza held at Demsha High School ground under Satkania upazila of the district after Asr prayer.
