Staff Reporter:
Sadik Al Sarker, the founder of Leadsas Global OPC & Plan of Sas. from Bangladesh, has received an official invitation to participate in the upcoming Youth Empowerment Forum 2025 (YEF25), scheduled to take place from September 4 to 7, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland. He has already received the formal invitation letter to attend this prestigious conference.
The forum will bring together 150 young leaders, policymakers, and social change-makers from around the world. It is being organized by the Canada-based research organization Center for Global Dialogue and Leadership (CGDL), which works globally to empower youth, foster global dialogue, and promote sustainable leadership.
The three-day forum will include policy dialogues, interactive workshops, expert-led sessions, cultural exchange activities, and educational visits to institutions such as the United Nations Headquarters and CERN.
Sadik Al Sarker said, “I have been officially selected to participate in this international forum and will stay in Geneva throughout the event. I believe my participation will contribute to a broader effort to strengthen global youth leadership in areas like intercultural understanding, peacebuilding, diplomacy, and innovation.” The Youth Empowerment Forum is a platform focused on empowering young people and nurturing leadership. It supports youth in gaining knowledge, developing skills, and building networks to bring about positive social change. Similar forums have been held in the past, such as in 2023, where youth aged 16 to 46 took part. Notably, a fully funded edition was organized in Geneva in 2023, hosting 150 young delegates from around the globe.
Sadik Al Sarker has previously represented Bangladesh at various international seminars, symposiums, and conferences across the world. Some notable ones include COP29 (organized by the UN) in Azerbaijan, the World Youth Forum 2024 in Portugal, the Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Thailand, and the Asian School of Business Conference in Malaysia. He has worked with top service organizations and prestigious universities in countries such as Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, UAE, and France. His work has earned him several national and international honors, including the “Token of Love” and the “Appreciation for Tremendous Support” awards.
It is worth noting that Sadik Al Sarker is also the founder of Leadsas Global OPC & Plan of Sas., an organization working on climate change and the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He participated in COP29, where he advocated for more effective action against climate risks and emphasized the importance of transitioning away from fossil fuels. Plan of Sas. is actively working to achieve the SDGs—17 interconnected global goals designed by the UN to build a better and more sustainable future for all by the year 2030.
