Khan Iqbal new Sonali Bank DMD

Khan Iqbal Hossain recently joined as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of state owned Sonali Bank PLC Prior to his joining, he severed as Deputy Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank & Rupali Bank PLC. He posted to Sonali Bank PLC through a circular of Financial Institutions Division on 14th July 2025. Khan Iqbal Hossain started his banking carrier as senior officer of Rupali Bank in 1998.

Having 27 years of diversified experiences he held different positions in Rupali Bank with efficiently and successfully such as branch banking, corporate banking, general banking and head of Credit, Operation, HRM Department. He is renowned for leadership, visionary goal, innovative ideas and co-operation in SME sector, says a press release.
