Dev with Subhasree in ‘nostalgic relay’

Tollywood’s popular onscreen couple is Dev and Subhashree Ganguly.

Fans were eager to see them together again after a long break. Finally, the wait is over and the shooting of their much-awaited new film ‘DeSu 7’ has been wrapped up!

And to celebrate this special moment, Dev himself shared a nostalgic dance and emotional video on social media.

On Thursday, Dev posted a video of himself dancing to the hugely popular song ‘Mala Re’ from the 2011 blockbuster film ‘Romeo’ on his official social media handle with Subhasree.

In the caption, Dev wrote, “With immense gratitude, pride and a bit of emotion, we are wrapping up the shooting of ‘DeSu 7’. A big thank you to everyone who poured their hearts behind this film.

The shooting may be over, but our real journey has only just begun. See you in the cinema hall on the next Durga Puja!”

The big surprise of this movie, tentatively titled ‘DeSu 7’, is that it marks the debut of superstar Dev as a director for the first time! Along with Dev and Subhasree, actor Anirban Bhattacharya will be seen in an important and powerful role in the film.

Dev and Subhashree are coming together on the big screen after more than a decade.

Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Dhoomketu’, made in 2016, was released last year after a 9-year hiatus, but this is their much-awaited comeback in terms of new work.

Dev’s directorial debut is set to hit the theatres on Durga Puja, October 16. Upon release, it will face stiff competition from big Indian films like Rajinikanth’s ‘JAILER 2’, Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Prohar’ and Yami Gautam’s ‘Navya Naveli’.
