Govt reshuffles 3 secretaries
The government has reshuffled the portfolios of three secretaries, transferring them to new positions as part of an administrative reorganisation.
The Public Administration Ministry issued three separate notifications on Friday, with the changes taking effect immediately in the public interest.
Under the reshuffle, AJM Salahuddin Nagari, contractual chairman of the Land Reforms Board, who holds the rank of secretary, has been appointed secretary (contractual) to the Public Division of the President’s Office.
In another change, Dr Rafiqul I Mohamed, contractual secretary of the Public Division of the President’s Office, has been transferred to the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division as secretary (contractual).
Meanwhile, Mohammad Showkat Rashid Chowdhury, contractual secretary of the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division, has been transferred to the Land Reforms Board as chairman.
The Public Administration Ministry issued the three notifications separately. They were signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Md Borman Hossain.
The orders, issued in the public interest, will come into effect immediately, according to the notifications.
