The Department of Chemistry of Comilla University (CoU) will arrange the 37th Annual Conference of Bangladesh Chemical Society (ACBCS) on 11th April, said a press release issued by Prof Dr Mohammad Sayadur Rahman and Md Sahadat Hossain, respecting the chairman and the secretary of the organizing committee ACBCS-2015.
The theme of the conference is “Chemistry for Green Living”. Prof Dr Md Ali Ashraf, the Vice-Chancellor of Comilla University is the chief patron of this congression.
The conference will address the role of chemical scientists for green living. This congress is intended to offer an opportunity for the chemists to present their recent research findings in the forum and exchange ideas and knowledge in Chemistry for better living.
The conference will gather world class researchers, academicians, chemical engineers and educators who are continuously contributing for the society. Participants are expected to benefit from the plenary lectures and the scientific presentations, which will help them to select their reels. It will promote coordination, interaction and collaboration among universities, research institutions and industries at home and abroad.
It will also facilitate research activities in chemistry and bring it to the notice of the policy planners in the government, commercial and donor community to understand the need of research in chemistry for green living.
Abstracts have been invited for oral and poster presentations regarding Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical and Environmental Chemistry and Syntactic and Green Chemistry, Natural Products, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Bio-molecular and Food Chemistry, Nuclear and Radiochemistry, Organometalic and Crystallography, Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry. Registration for the program is going on.
