ONE Bank appoints new DMD

Business Report :

Md Anwarul Islam has been promoted as Deputy Managing Director of ONE Bank with effect from Tuesday.

Prior to his promotion as DMD, he was senior executive vice president (SEVP) and chief legal officer and head of the bank’s recovery division.

He began his banking career as a management trainee at the City Bank PLC in 2002.
He last served the City Bank as Head of Court Operations in its Legal Division.

He has extensive practical experience in banking operations especially Legal Affairs & Recovery, Retail Monitoring, and Special Asset Management etc.

He attended a good number of training programs and workshops at home and abroad.
Islam obtained his LLB (Hon’s) and LLM degrees from the University of Rajshahi.
